Dear Client:

As part of our ongoing commitment to client education, Grubman Financial is pleased to introduce a quarterly educational seminar series. This new service will address the pressing financial issues our clients face. Our goal is to offer an informational and interactive experience to help you make informed decisions and evaluate your progress towards achieving your financial objectives.

Our first seminar is titled "What is My Number?" It will address an issue on most of our clients' minds: how much money do I need in order to retire? How much today? How much at retirement? How do I get there?

We will review some simple but useful rules of thumb. We will show you the effect that spending has on your ability to retire, and offer a simple way to manage your spending that takes no time at all. We will discuss whether a vacation home or expensive car is an asset or a liability (hint: it is only an asset if you are willing to sell it).

We will review life expectancy planning, including the role of Social Security income in your projections.

And last, but certainly not least, we will discuss how diversification increases your financial security by reducing volatility and increasing predictability.

Please join us for our first seminar, "What is My Number?", to be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2008 at our office from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. A light dinner will be provided.

Please bring your friends, family or other contacts if you think they would benefit from this seminar. If you are not able to attend, but know someone who might benefit, let us know and we'll extend an invitation to them.

Please R.S.V.P. to emily@grubmanfinancial.com.

The schedule and topics for the rest of the series is on our website.

Regards,

Audrey Grubman, CFP®
Portfolio Manager and President
